Antimicrobial catheter lock solution
This lock solution prevents the formation of bacterial biofilm, protecting patients against catheter-related bloodstream infections and maintaining a high patency rate.
Taurolidine has broad antimicrobial activity (including MRSA and VRE) against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and fungi (e.g., Candida).
Citrate works as an anticoagulant and helps maintain an adequate flow rate within the catheter.
