Anchoring device for percutaneous drainage catheters.
Drain-Guard is an anchoring device for percutaneous drainage catheters that protrude from the patient’s skin at an angle approximately perpendicular to the skin surface.
The device has a skin-side surface with a skin-friendly adhesive and a specially designed foam block that safely anchors catheters from 5 to 16 French. The soft foam support block can prevent catheter kinking.
A transparent hydrocolloid cover allows continuous puncture site monitoring and efficient protection against contamination.
